CALL OF EDUCATION

“ The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think — rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.”  Bill Beattie

  • Education has been recognised as an essential agent of social change and development in any society and any country.
  • True education enables us to love life and opens us to the fullness of life.
  • The aim of education is the knowledge, not of facts, but of values.
  • Education is so important in our life. A good education makes an individual develop personally, socially as well as economically. Education helps us to do our daily life activities in best possible ways.
  • As Nelson Mandela says, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” It is the key to eliminating gender inequality, reducing poverty, creating a sustainable planet, preventing needless deaths and illness, and fostering peace.
  • Education is an important aspect of our lives, while some of us take it for granted, there are others who crave and struggle to get it. From Aristotle to APJ Abdul Kalam, every famous personality has time and again stressed on the importance of education in our lives.
  • It is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. says : Develop a passion for learning.
  • Education can be said to be a process through which a society passes on the knowledge, values and skills from one generation to another. It should be a means to empower children and adults alike to become active participants in the transformation of their societies.
  • Learning can be defined as the acquiring of new skills, knowledge, values, attitude and behavior which enable individuals to learn to live together in a world characterized by diversity and pluralism.
  • Educating the women in India plays a very important role in the overall development of the country. It not only helps in the development of half of the human resources, but in improving the quality of life at home and outside. Educated women not only tend to promote education of their girl children, but also can provide better guidance to all their children.
  • Pope Francis says, true educators are just like mothers and fathers who give life open to the future. In order to do this, educators need to listen to young people. Our educators have a highly valuable work in building our society .Education is the path that leads away from poverty and despair towards a future full of hope, promise and prosperity.
  • I am happy to say that the main ministry of our campus is education and we are able to empower many girls and lead them to a good future through the ministry of education. Many of our past students are holding responsible positions in different parts of the world which is something to be proud of.
  • I appreciate all the committed Teaching and Non- Teaching staff who work tirelessly to bring out the best from every student and who in turn strive towards building a humane and just society.

  • May St. Mary Euphrasia our Mother Foundress continue to Shepherd us to live her motto ” Do well all that you do”
